I just heard the word "Galentine's" for the first time last week. No, it's not a typo. It's apparently new word for women who celebrate Valentine's Day with their best friends. (Where was this when I was in high school with no boyfriend?) Anyway, it seemed like a great description of what Valentine's Day is like around my house.
Also worth noting? It is so much more difficult to photograph my own kids than my clients. Seriously, why is that? It is nearly impossible to get them both to stand still and stop making weird faces for two seconds. Maybe that's why I gravitate towards lifestyle photography rather than traditionally posed portraits.
Well, we did manage to at least wear matching dresses and matching hairdos and catch a few silly faces and smiles and I'm thankful for that. Here are a few of the images I was able to get. And huge shout out to my hubs for all of his help in directing these crazy girls!
